The Midlands Micromouse and Robotics Club, in conjunction with the Robotics and Intelligent Systems SIG will be hosting a talk by Roumen Ivanov on Monday May 28th at 18:30. The venue will be the normal club meeting area at Millenium Point in Birmingham.
He will be giving a talk about working at FESTO, how the technology being developed there is inspirational and has changed his career, and about the latest FESTO innovations.
Club activities will be on-going as normal either side of the talk.
Roumen Ivanov, a Master of Engineering and Automation, is a member of the IET Robotics and Mechatronics Network and works for FESTO’s Application Support section.
Roumen supports FESTO customers with mechatronics motion solutions and has over 20 years experience working in the UK and Australia. He has specialised in support of Computer Controllers, Systems Engineering Design and Industrial Networks.
Part of his work involves presentations, implementations and improvements to the FESTO’s innovation products such as fluidic muscle, servo-pneumatics, servo-controls, vision systems and newest Robot Controllers from FESTO.
