Here are some ‘specials’:

- KuppaXX is the first to run. It is the only mouse I recall able to do Dave Otten’s trick of running either way round thanks to sensors front and back. It also ran autonomously. In spite of being a large, stepper-driven mouse, it managed a time of 13.074 seconds.
- Next is ‘YU-F-02 Brave’ this is an interesting mouse in that the steering is done using a two-servo Ackerman design. Rather like your car. Remarkably, it can turn in place.
- Then we have a half-size mouse in a full-size maze. This entry from Kojima-san runs perfectly well and has an entertaining trick up its sleeve. Watch it do a 180 turn. It also has excellent powers of recovery after hitting the walls.
